The Aldergrove Community Secondary School library is a space that reflects the needs of students and staff. With over 2000sqft of space, a dedicated computer lab, a silent study area, and a vibrant and bustling commons, the library has developed into the heart of the school. Find the latest fiction, check out our Manga collection, research on a desktop computer or borrow a laptop, and feel free to ask questions. We might not have the answers, but we can definitely help you find them!

Ms Caines

Ms Caines loves Star Wars, Diet Coke, chocolate, books, anything to do with history, travelling, and not necessarily in that order! She's an avid reader, which makes her great resource if you're looking for your next read.

She graduated from ACSS and is now one of 6 staff members who are a part of this exclusive students-to-staff club. After high school, she took a few years off to start a family and her twins now attend ACSS as well. Ms. Caines has a BA in History and English, a BEd in Social Studies and English, a MA in Humanities, and a lot of extra diplomas including Home Ec and Teacher-Librarianship.

She's taught at ACSS since 2015.
